Notre Dame celebrates GCSE success

Students and staff at Notre Dame, part of Plymouth CAST Multi Academy Trust, are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results.

As a school community, we are very proud of what has been achieved and look forward to welcoming many students back as they join our 6th Form in September.

A number of students have achieved particularly impressive results. The following students have achieved grades 8 and 9 across a wide range of subjects;

  • Nour A
  • Holly C
  • Evie F
  • Merveille K
  • Sofia V
  • Matilde V
We also celebrate with our students who have achieved outstanding progress during their time at Notre Dame: Tatiana R, Isabella W, Charlie I and Amelia M.

We are equally proud of a number of our students who have had to overcome challenges and adversity to achieve their success.

Ann Morgan, Head of School at Notre Dame, said:

“We are super proud of the Notre Dame class of 2024.  These strong results are testament to their hard work and dedication to their studies. We are delighted to welcome so many of our students into our 6th form, NDSB6, along with a number of students from other schools who have chosen to join us.”

Michael Antram, Executive Headteacher said:

“Notre Dame GCSE outcomes are significantly improved on last year, reflecting the quality of education offered, and the commitment of our staff. We, together with all schools in Plymouth, continue to work hard to ensure that our students build strong futures as we climb further away from the immediate consequences of the COVID -19 pandemic on education. We look forward to a successful future, and to welcoming new students from far and wide into our 6th Form this September”
